When Sarah teleports to a local Starbucks with her alien sidekick Bernie, she’s surprised to find no line inside. Plus, there are only two hot drinks on the menu, coffee or tea. “What planet is this?!” she stammers. “Centara 4,” her guide dutifully answers. He then tells her that his species is basically a bunch of math geeks who follow the binary system. Everything is either 0 or 1, yes or no, this or that. The earthling takes her coffee and asks to be beamed to a Walmart, for her bagels and bananas. “It’s bagels OR bananas,” corrects Bernie. “What?!”
